Build this project and beautify your mail box. Paint your mailbox with outdoor latex paint for a smooth finish, or choose to make it from cedar and stain it to richness. Then add the planter for extra flair. Build the planter as shown or build a set of planters separately for your deck or patio area. The mailbox itself is 16″ tall and 27″ deep. A materials list, measured drawings, and step by step construction instructions are provided.
