Description
ALUMITHANE is a moisture-cure, aluminum pigmented urethane coating designed for application over rusting substrates where conventional preparation is either impractical or impossible. It seals in rust and creates a suitable surface for re-coat. It may be used as its own finish coat, or can be repainted with most any product. It has excellent chemical and corrosion resistance and adheres extremely well to stainless steel, steel and iron. It can be used inside or outside and is an ideal maintenance coating for factory ceilings, beams, tanks and other hard to prepare surfaces. Light sanding will be necessary between coats if more then 24 hours elapse between applications.
